Educational consultants assist parents and children with the most important choice in life: Which path is most suitable both personally and academically to ensure a student’s satisfying future? High school is the ideal time to begin the process of ascertaining a student’s needs to prevent problems later, such as changing careers or expensive retraining down the road. Self -knowledge is the key to discovering unique skills, traits and abilities. As a JK consultant, I assist both parents and children to navigate complex decisions and make the academic shoe fit. We translate the complex university application process into a simple one. High school is the ideal time to begin the process. Clear, strategic thinking now prevents an applicant from making hasty decisions later, resulting in career changes due to poor planning. A student who majors in a field for the wrong reasons will suffer from a lack of passion and job satisfaction later in life. JK consultants provide objective insight to assist both parents and children with course selection and career goals, as, established in 1987, we have years of training and success stories behind us.

Being a JK educational consultant is exciting and satisfying, for my unique gift is finding and developing the gifts of my students. Each application question is secretly probing your strengths and weaknesses, and asking students to reflect upon unique traits, leadership skills and diverse abilities. My job is to facilitate a student’s finding his or her true calling by consulting with both parents and students to ensure a proper fit. People rarely see their innate abilities clearly, and having an expert providing guidance is invaluable.

I have been helping students with Ivy League Admissions for over fifteen years, and guide students through the “hidden agenda” of university applications. Above all, I ask my students a question which needs addressing above all others: What makes you happy, in the deepest sense of the word? When do you lose track of time? What are you doing when this phenomenon occurs?

Many people have never considered their passions or ability to enrich the world by finding a joyful way to contribute. The top Ivy school universities want leaders, not followers, to create a better world. Thus, JK consultants support students in their passions, and provide emotional support for them during their personal and academic discovery. We want students to be more of who they innately are, not less; there is no guessing on an application question. I am currently working on an Ivy league application for a student who needs to find five adjectives to describe himself. We decided the word “unsolved” was the best fit for him, as he is passionate about abstract math and calculus equations.
